She will be guest of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society at the Harrogate show on Tuesday, and she will meet exhibitors.
Also on site will be celebrity chefs Rosemary Shrager and Ainsley Harriott plus the national weather presenter John Kettley.
It is expected that around 130,000 people will attend the 152nd the show which runs from Tuesday to Thursday.
Bill Cowling, honorary show director, said: “We’re on track for a wonderful show.
“We have record entries in eight different sections, ticket sales are incredibly good, and our preparations around the showground are going well.”
Caroline Spelman, the Defra minister, is to visit the showground on Thursday and William Worsley, president of the National Farmers’ Union will be there too.
