Pupils from schools from across the region attended an education challenge at the Yorkshire Air Museum.
Students from the York area did particularly well at the “inspirations” event which was based around science, engineering and design.
All Saints RC School won two awards, including the solar boat challenge and a mini-robot wars event. Fulford School also won two awards. Other schools taking part included Selby High and Sherburn High.
York College won an award which highlighted its graphic skills.
This is the seventh year the competition has taken place. It is organised annually by the North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership and the Yorkshire Air Museum.
