An extra end was required to decide the York Amateur Bowling Association Williamson Cup tie between Haxby Road and Dunnington ‘A’.
After 21 ends the score was 73 each and all four rinks played the additional end with Haxby Road winning by six shots.
Division two side Poppleton earned a home tie against Selby by beating Holgate 78-75.
The leaders of all three leagues have consolidated their positions.
In division one, Selby beat RI Amateurs 8-0 and second-placed Shipton lost to Dunnington.
Division two leaders Bootham beat rivals Clifton 8-0 and Harrogate lead division three by 16 points after an 8-0 win at City Amateurs.
