SOLDIERS from the Territorial Army are to receive medals for their work in Afghanistan at a special ceremony in North Yorkshire this weekend.
The troops, from 4th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment, will parade in front of family, friends and thousands of racegoers at York Racecourse on Saturday.
After the presentation, in the Parade Ring, the 34 soldiers will enjoy a day at the races, and there will be a fly-past from RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
