FORMER North Yorkshire bobby turned bestselling author Mike Pannett will be at Waterstones in York on Monday evening for the launch of his latest book.
Not On My Patch, Lad is the third in Mike’s series of real-life comic police adventures, based on his time as a rural bobby.
Described by one critic as the “James Herriot of the policing world”, the former North Yorkshire sergeant, will be at the store from 7pm on Monday to chat and sign copies of his book. “Everyone is welcome!” he said. Next Saturday, Mike will be signing books at WH Smith, in Coney Street, from noon until 1pm and at WH Smith at Monks Cross from 1.30pm to 3pm. A week tomorrow he will be at Tesco, Clifton Moor, from 10am to 3pm.
