ANOTHER public meeting is to be held next month on the issue of a new “free school” in Holgate.
As reported in The Press, a group of parents from Holgate hope to take advantage of a Government scheme which would allow them to set up a secondary school free from council control.
The meeting takes place in Holgate Methodist Church Hall at 7pm on August 4.
A meeting for those interested in being on the working group takes place this Wednesday at the church hall, also at 7pm. For more information about the “free school” initiative, visit www.yorkfreeschool.org.uk
