The Nestlé-sponsored York Family Tennis Tournament is to be held at Rowntree Park on Saturday for the men’s and ladies doubles, then on Sunday featuring the mixed and husband and wife events.
The draw will take place tonight and entrants notified.
For the first time in the 28-year history of the event, which has a Wimbledon theme, the winners of the events will receive Wimbledon prizes and all entrants can enjoy strawberries and cream.
There will also be Wimbledon souvenirs for all children who have entered.
This year sees the format changed slightly in the ladies and men’s doubles being opened up to brothers and sisters playing as a team, while in the mixed, brothers and sisters can combine.
