How bad are things getting? My two granddaughters, aged six and 12 years, were asked by their mum to wait outside a certain shop in York city centre while she slipped across the road just to buy The Press.
They were standing near the window for a few seconds, not blocking the door, when a certain lady came from the shop and moved the girls on, saying they were blocking the window and losing customers for her.
How very very sad this is. I hope this person feels happy.
