OFFICE workers from a York business have completed a 50-mile trek across the Pennines in 24-hours to raise funds for charity.
Eight members of software licensing company Trustmarque Solutions entered as two teams of four in the endurance trek called The Megahike to raise funds for a charity that provides children’s medical equipment.
Team captain Paul Neary said it was an exhausting experience in hot weather, which caused many contestants to drop out.
The money raised will be donated to MedEquip4Kids, which provides specialist medical equipment for children.
