TWO men threatened a walker with a stick before robbing him in broad daylight on a York cycle track.
Police said the men hid in bushes along the cycle path behind Tang Hall Lane and stopped the 33-year-old male victim as he walked past.
They threatened him with a stick before making off across St Nicholas Fields towards Morrisons supermarket with his black rucksack, which contained various belongings, including a wallet.
The men are described as Asian, one about 5ft 6ins tall and the other 6ft tall, and both aged between 25 and 30.
They were both wearing scarves around their lower faces and one man was wearing a blue bubble coat.
The robbery happened between 11.15am and 11.30am on Wednesday.
