THERE seems to have been a rapid expansion in “big boys clubs” over the last ten years or so, who operate like wolf packs.
Their motto – “safety in numbers”. They make sure they are all obscenely overpaid for what they do, to the detriment of a general public who are their paymasters.
Quango executives, investment bankers, council executives, panels of judges on TV talent shows, so-called “entertainers” like Russell Brand, footballers, their agents, and the superfluous personnel of the ruling bodies, not forgetting England managers who can hardly speak English.
Examples are football co-commentators – who jabber on at the slightest opportunity to warrant their considerable wages – and hospital executives and managers – who understand little about actual health.
People are now realising the gross unfairness at all this, and sincerely hope the coalition will do something about it all.
