IT’S a scream a minute. Scientists from the University of California are now telling us exercise and a regular intake of tea and/or coffee will help to stave off and combat dementia of men and women aged 76 or over.

I take more exercise than most my age and sup more coffee than most of any age.

I can well remember things that took place 70 odd years ago, but yet can’t remember things that happened last week. If that’s not dementia, then I don’t know what is.

If this letter doesn’t get published it will either have finished up on the editor’s cutting room floor or I will have forgotten to post it.
