A TAXI found dumped near Selby has been linked to an alleged knifepoint robbery.
The incident happened on June 4, when a taxi driver picked two men up in Doncaster and asked to be taken to Stainforth.
One man in the back of the taxi held what is believed to be a small knife into the neck of the driver, before forcing him to get out.
The taxi was recovered the next day in Thorpe Willoughby, near Selby.
