A CRASH victim was taken to hospital after an accident involving several vehicles near York.
Officers, fire and ambulance crews were called to Hopgrove roundabout, just before the turn off for the A64, at 10am on Saturday following reports of a multiple pile-up.
Two fire crews from York used hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue a person trapped in a vehicle.
Two people were treated at the scene and another person injured was taken to York Hospital by ambulance.
The injuries sustained were not life-threatening.
