On behalf of the Meningitis Trust I would like to thank the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity for recently awarding a grant of £15,000 to us.
The Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity exists to make seriously ill children’s lives better. The foundation believes that every child has the right to a good quality of life, no matter how ill they are, and raises money to support individuals and organisations, so that sick children can receive the highest-quality care, advice and support.
We were thrilled to receive the support of the charity. The grant will fund our art therapy sessions which we provide to children affected by meningitis throughout the UK.
The Meningitis Trust provides professional support services along with art therapy and they include counselling, financial grants, one-to-one contacts and a 24-hour helpline staffed by nurses (0800 028 18 28).
