DEFENDING champions Nick and Paul Turnbull, of Poppleton, retained their men’s doubles title in the Nestlé Family Tennis Tournament at Rowntree Park.
They beat York duo Phil and Stuart Langley 6-3 in the final after trailing 3-0.
David Lloyd’s Eleanor Bradshaw, 16, teamed up with 14-year-old sister Anna to defend the women’s doubles title.
The mixed doubles title again went to Eleanor Bradshaw and her father, Duncan, who beat John Huntington and sister Alex-Jane Hardstaff 6-0 in the final.
The husband and wife/couples crown went to York’s Jez Catchpole and Anne Jackson.
The most promising junior boy was George Hobson, of Sutton-on-Derwent, and the girls award went to Steph Pearson, of Alne.
