LOCAL business people raised more than £1,000 for charity when they helped the Selby branch of NFU Mutual celebrate its 100th anniversary at a golf day.
More than 50 local business people took part in the event at Scarthingwell Golf Course, Tadcaster, in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
Local businesses, including Colin Wallwork Photography, Jewson in Selby, Brackenhill Fine Foods and Brown Cow Brewery also donated prizes for a raffle and auction.
