OF the many articles which have appeared in The Press over the years regarding the provision of a rail halt at Haxby, I cannot recall any figures being quoted as to the likely numbers of passengers who would make use of the facility.
Quite likely this information has been quoted in The Press and I have missed the article.
In the early stages of this proposal, a survey must have been carried out to determine the possible passenger numbers. It would be advantageous to have an updated survey.
