I HAVE recently had a successful operation for skin cancer at York Hospital and would like to thank Mr Telfer and his team for the kindness and consideration I received during my stay in hospital, and during my out-patient appointments.
We hear many negative comments about the NHS, but I found the treatment at York Hospital to be exceptional. Everything was explained to me clearly and honestly and I had an initial consultation at the dermatology clinic only four days after seeing my GP.
