POLICE with battering rams raided three properties in the same street this morning – uncovering a cannabis factory.
More than 30 officers and a police dog swooped on Grosvenor Terrace in the Bootham area of the city shortly after 9am to execute the warrants.
They discovered a small cannabis factory with about 15 plants in one of the bed-sits, as well as several bags of the drug.
One man was led from the property after being arrested on suspicion of production of a Class B drug and possession with intent to supply.
Two further arrests were made during the raid for possession of cannabis.
