MEET the Duffill family from Foxwood – the lucky winners of our fabulous prize of a 12-month family membership to Energise health and fitness centre in Acomb.
The three generations, including keen swimmer and 74-year-old grandmother, Jean, are all looking forward to trying out the range of facilities over the coming year.
Jubilant mum, Catherine Duffill, 42, said the prize was the “kick up the backside” she needed after letting her fitness slip.
Her two sons – Ryan, 16, and 14-year-old Jacob – are also looking forward to getting into the fitness centre and trying Energise’s climbing wall.
Daughter Rachel, 23, also hopes to benefit from the expert advice on offer from the trained fitness staff, as she looks to build on her ongoing health campaign.
The Press will now be tracking the progress of the winning family over the coming months as they tell us about the benefits to their health and happiness.
