I WAS glad to read the letter against the football club moving to Huntington (Letters, July 16). While the club is a bit more economically sound, the owners do not seem to have consulted the 2,000 fans who attend regularly.
Bootham Crescent has a great atmosphere and is in York. The thought of moving to Huntington is a setback and rather negative. What happens if York is drawn against Newcastle United in the cup?
I could understand if the club were moving to something better, but what is wrong with building on what you have got?
