WITH reference to Don Munro’s letter (Superpowers destroyed a country, June 19) I would like to say I have a 1974 pen adventure travel brochure.
In it are countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, El Salvador, Lebanon and many others.
All these have known warfare in the last 30 years. When I look through the brochure of some of the wonderful holidays they offered one question comes to mind. What has the earth done to us for us to treat it the way we do?
