A MAN was robbed at knifepoint in York this morning as he made his way home.
The incident happened at about 3.30am as the 23-year-old local man walked along Jubilee Terrace, in the Leeman Road area of the city.
He was approached by a man in his mid 20s and was threatened with a knife. He was forced to hand over his iPhone 3GS and a small amount of cash.
The suspect, who made off down Balfour Street, is described as approximately 6ft 2ins tall, well built with short, dark hair. He was wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit and left the scene accompanied by a woman.
