MOTORISTS are being warned to watch out for resurfacing work in York next week.

City of York Council will resurface part of Stray Road, in Heworth, starting on Monday. The work is programmed to take up to two weeks to complete, working Monday to Friday between 9.15 am and 4pm.

In order to carry out the work safely, a temporary road closure of Stray Road will be necessary. Diversions will be in place.

The works involve the planning out of the existing surfacing, treatment of the concrete joints, re-surfacing the road and replacement of the road markings.
