TEENAGERS interested in a career outdoors are being invited to taster days at Askham Bryan College, near York.
The prospective students will get the chance to drive a tractor or take a spin in an off-road LandRover or a Lotus sports car.
Courses offered at the college cover all aspects of agriculture, equestrian interests, landscape design, sports turf management, outdoor adventure sport and motor racing mechanics. Much of the teaching takes place in the outdoor classrooms of a working farm, with a herd of 250 cows, an equestrian centre with over 40 horses and an award-winning landscape design area.
