IT SHOULD have been a day of relief for York’s long-suffering motorists.
But instead, the disruption goes on.
Yesterday ought to have been the final day of the gasworks which have brought major diversions in the Walmgate and Lawrence Street areas of the city.
But as this picture shows, the work is far from over. As reported in The Press recently, it is set to continue for an extra three weeks, into mid-August.
