IN VIEW of the nuisance, plus environmental aspects of junk mail, has any reader any ideas how to put a stop to the daily avalanche of unwanted mail?

I have twice registered with the post office, but am still bombarded with sales, holiday brochures of every size and description.

If all the companies concerned reduced their prices by the amount of money spent on junk mail, they would be doing their customers and the environment a huge favour.
