GARDENERS and landscapers are needed at a York care home to help make the dream of a sensory garden come true for residents.
Birchlands, in Haxby, is appealing for green-fingered helpers or garden supply companies to help make reality a plan for a new garden drawn up by students of Askham Bryan College.
A spokesman said: “As we have no funds we would need donations of materials, expertise, plants and shrubs.
“But the main thing is time.
“No matter what age, capability, size or shape, all will be welcome and all contributions will be most gratefully accepted.”
