A YORK walker has scaled the three highest peaks in Yorkshire for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in memory of his wife’s uncle.
Steve Suter, 34, joined 500 walkers on Saturday (24th) to take on the 25-mile challenge climbing Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Steve took on the task in memory of Richard Wilkinson, also of York, who had a heart attack and died in December last year, aged 45.
Steve completed the event in eight hours and 44 minutes and has raised around £750.
