CAN anyone involved in the complete closure of Lawrence Street explain to me and many other motorists why this is still so?
On examination of the site it seems that if the contractors parked in a line instead across the road that would allow traffic to filter left with the installation of temporary lights.
This would stop the congestion on Hallfield Road, Layerthorpe, and cars taking short cuts through Morrisons. One would think as the contractors have had to extend the completion date could have done to help traffic flow.
