Updated: A 23-YEAR-OLD man has died in York after collapsing from a suspected drug overdose.
Police and paramedics were called to a property at Seventh Avenue, in Tang Hall, at about 1.25pm yesterday, following reports that a man had collapsed.
Attempts were made to resuscitate the man, who has yet to be identified, but he was pronounced dead at York Hospital.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “We currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. We are unable to release the identity of the man at this time.”
Police remained at the house until late last night as detectives carried out inquiries.
