DOZENS of children from across York braved the rain to enjoy National Play Day events.
Young BMX and skateboard enthusiasts took to ramps and rails, and some daredevils even enjoyed the climbing wall between rain showers in Parliament Street yesterday.
The events were part of City of York Council’s summer activities which will also include open-air discos in Parliament Street this weekend between 3pm and 5pm on Saturday, and 3pm and 4.30pm on Sunday.
