THE Lord Mayor of York, Councillor Sue Galloway, welcomed a group of 30 choristers to the Mansion House.
After their performance, the Leicester Cathedral Choir brought greetings from the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Colin Hall.
They were then invited to look around the Mansion House, which is the home of the Lord Mayor of York.
It holds an extensive collection of civic regalia, silver, artefacts, paintings and furniture and is considered one of York’s architectural masterpieces.
The choir has been performing at York Minster, where members will be singing services until the end of the week.
