Ye Olde Pie & Sausage Shoppe reaches finals of sausage competition
YE OLDE Pie & Sausage Shoppe, in Shambles, has reached the finals of Britain’s Star Sausage Competition.
The shop, which is less than a year old, has now been invited to a cook-off in Leeds where a team of judges led by Craig Revel Horwood, from Strictly Come Dancing, will announce the winner of the Banger Award.
The family-run business entered the competition with its Shambles Ghost sausage from its range of over 20 speciality sausages after positive feedback from customers.
