A TALENTED young dancer from York will represent the city in the national finals of a competition to find community spirited girls.
Kimberley Goodhall, nine, of Huntington will now go on the final of the children’s section of the Little Miss Community contest next year, after talking the first runner’s up place in a regional final.
Proud mother Natalie said: “Kimberley had a very long afternoon of dance practice, learning to walk and answering questions.
“Kimberley was the youngest member there, competing against 13 and 14-year-olds.
After performing a dance routine in front of the judges, Kimberley was awarded her crown and is looking forward to the national competition next year.
“She loved every minute of it and likened it to being a princess for the day,” said her mum.
