MAY we express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended our Christmas Tree Festival in Haxby Memorial Hall last weekend. Thanks to the people who decorated the trees and to those who attended the event throughout the weekend to support us, despite the weather. Also thanks to Santa and to Wigginton Road Farm Shop, who attended with two of their reindeer; and to the fundraising team who put in a tremendous effort to make the festival a success. The winners of the best-decorated trees were Haxby Playgroups in the children’s categor and Food For Thought in the adults.

Thank you to all have supported the Memorial Hall throughout 2010.

All the money raised goes towards retaining the historic hall. Keep an eye on the website for events in 2011.
