POLICE are hunting two men in connection with an alleged assault on a 19-year-old man in Bridlington.
The two men are said to have approached a man who was walking along the footpath close to the children’s playground at the junction of Midway Avenue and Station Avenue in Bridlington between 3.15am and 3.30am on Friday, December 10.
A verbal altercation is believed to have taken place before the two men assaulted the man and ran off over Station Road Bridge towards Hilderthorpe Road.
The 19-year-old victim was treated at Scarborough Hospital for facial injuries.
One of the suspects is a white man, aged 25 of a stocky build and with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a cream top and blue jeans. The other is a white man, aged 30, and of a medium build.
