A PUB in York has reopened its doors following a £300,000 revamp.
The new-look Royal Oak, in Goodramgate, boasts an extended orangery eating area, but the front bar remains for loyal customers who remember the pub of old.
Licensee Sara Skrzypiec said: “We want the Royal Oak to appeal to everyone and it’s quite rare that pubs have an equal appeal for both drinkers and diners, but that’s what we’ve tried to create here.”
