Detectives investigating an attempted bank robbery in Harrogate have released a CCTV picture of the incident.
At about 10.40am on Monday, November 29, a masked man entered the HSBC bank in Skipton Road and gave a note to a member of staff, demanding money and stating that he had a gun. He left before any money could be handed over, and made off towards Church Avenue.
The suspect is described as about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black hooded top with a grey peak, a grey or green coat, with grey or green trousers and brown shoes. He spoke with an east European accent.
