Dunnington star Lawrence Delasaux has won the Professional Squash Players’ Association Saskatoon Boast Open in Canada.
Delasaux beat Mexican Jorge Ferreira 3-2 in the final, having breezed through the last 16, quarter-finals and semi-final without dropping a set.
Delasaux’s success follows club-mate Chris Simpson’s victory at the Jericho Open in Canada last month.
Meanwhile, Dunnington are fifth in the Yorkshire Premier League table at the halfway stage of the season. They have 80 points, while leaders Heaton are on 108.
They beat Pontefract 3-2 in their latest game – their fourth win from seven games.
Their next fixture will be at home to Chapel Allerton on January 12.
