A HOSPITAL fundraising group has presented equipment to a unit that cares for critically-ill patients.
The Friends Of The Friarage Hospital raised £21,000 through fundraising events and a charity shop within the Northallerton hospital.
The money has been used to buy specialist medical equipment for the intensive therapy unit, including a cardiac output monitor and cough assist equipment, which helps to reduce the length of time a patient has to spend on a ventilator.
