AN ARMY of Santas took to the streets for a Christmas charity run.
About 20 fundraisers donned red and white suits for the one-mile fun run around Haxby, organised by Samson And Delilah’s gym.
Jo Holmes, of the gym, said: “It was great social and fundraising event that involved people of all ages.
We had children aged three up to people in their late 60s who all jogged around Haxby before coming back to the gym to warm up with coffee and mince pies.
“It was a great atmosphere along the route with carol singers and families turning out to support us.
“Everyone wants to do it again next year.
Hundreds of pounds were raised for the British Heart Foundation.
