SO THE Lib Dem candidate for Heslington, Chris Wiggin, has accused Labour of hypocrisy and playing political games over tuition fees (The Press, December 14).
Is this the same Chris Wiggin who, as a Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Barnsley Central, stood on a manifesto to abolish tuition fees but whose party instead increased them?
The same Chris Wiggin who was accused of a dirty tricks campaign after hi-jacking a political rivals name on the internet (Tory’s anger at hi-tech “hijack”, September 2, 2008)? The words “pot”, “kettle” and “black” spring to mind.
