Sleeve: Very creative use of old album covers, produced in glossy cardboard in gatefold style.
Sleevenotes: 16-page full colour booklet detailing the story of all-girl punk rock band, plus great early pictures.
Content: 42 tracks covering complete history of the Runaways. CD One comprises debut album and Live In Japan; CD Two, Queens Of Noise and Waiting For The Night
High point: Too many to mention on a great compilation
Low point: None; no bad tracks, just good wholesome rock.
Any glaring omissions? No.
Anything new? Nothing, unless you count temporary tattoos that come free inside CD case.
Cheerful or tearful excuse for release? Valid career reappraisal on the back of The Runaways film that hit American screens in early 2010.
Where might this end up at Christmas? This could go to either 50-year-old nostalgic rocker or teenage rock newcomer to show how 1970s produced some great rock bands.
