WHO’s profiting out of heating oil. More than a million heating oil users will find today the price has gone up by 40 per cent in the last 14 days.
On December 7, the cost was 52.29p a litre. Today I was quoted 73.44p a litre. It’s time for the Government and the office of fair trading to get involved.
It’s no excuse to blame supply and demand, the bad weather and the supply shortage for the rise. There is no shortage of fuel at the pumps and the crude oil price has remained more of less static for the past two weeks.
Someone is making a fortune out of the situation, whilst my situation is pay up or freeze.
I’m going to pay and pray. Pay the oil price and pray my pension will increase by 40 per cent next year.
