The Three Tuns pub in Coppergate, York, has been awarded a five-star rating in its latest hygiene inspection by City of York Council.
Landlord Jason Hawkins said: “We are very proud of this achievement as very few pubs reach this standard, especially pubs that produce home-made and not bought-in meals.”
The rating is under the council’s “Scores on the doors” scheme, which encourages businesses to display their hygiene ratings for customers to see.
