The New York Sisterhood will be staging a clothes swapping party on Sunday, February 6.

Anyone keen to revamp their wardrobe in an ethical and economical way is invited to attend the Swish For Victory event from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Jacobs Well, Trinity Lane, York.

The event is open to both WI members and non members.

To take part, bring at least one good-quality item of clothing that is no longer worn and one non- size accessory that is surplus to requirements. Participants will receive tokens for each item they bring which can then be used in exchange for other clothes and accessories brought by fellow swishers.

There is no limit to the number of items that can be brought.

Following the success of a similar event held last year, this year’s evening will also include homeware and children’s clothes. Admission to the event costs £3.
