FASHION CITY YORK rolled into town – unveiling its new logo on this eyecatching banner.
It is hoped the striking design will become the badge of the new venture, which aims to put York on the fashion map.
Ashley McGovern, who runs the agency Redbonsai, designed the logo after winning a competition which drew entries from both professionals and amateurs.
His creation was chosen by the Fashion City York organising committee and the design will feature on its website as well as on all online and printed marketing.
Fashion City York’s first event will be held on April 2 and 3, featuring a fashion show at the Guildhall and a fashion marquee in St Sampson’s Square. There will be a further weekend event in September, followed by a week-long festival in March next year.
