FIREFIGHTERS have helped to remove a toilet seat from the head of a young child in North Yorkshire. A mother and her child visited Ripon Fire Station yesterday morning, after the youngster’s head became lodged in the small toilet seat.
Firefighters used metal snippers to remove the seat from the child’s head, a spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said.
